Vasectomy 1.5 days post-proceedure

Ok, So I kept coming back on to this site and looking for updates from folks who have had this done recently. No one had posted since May 09 and I thought that was odd. SO I decided to post a bit myself as to how things are going and to keep it progressive as time goes by to give an update to not only the surgical process but also the timeline afterwards. I was appreciative of the posts from the guys before me and hopefully this will help those after me. My significant other came with me and was a rockstar throughout the whole process, she waited while I was in surgery and we had a great time at dinner later that night. Ok back to the surgery:

First my stats:
I am 35, weigh 191 pounds and am 5′9″ tall. My bodyfat is between 7-9% (so it is easy to say I am in good shape)-
My Blood pressure when I went in was 133 over 82 (a bit higher than normal considering the circumstances I would say it was fine)-

The surgery took approximately 45 minuts after the doctor went over all the legal mumbo jumbo and his schpill on the process. Not a big deal.

Then we got prepped for surgery and it was very painless. I felt a couple of needle pricks as we got the “numbing shots” and from there it was pretty smooth sailing, although I did feel a slight tug a couple of times during surgery it wasnt anything particularly painful. After the surgery was completed I went straight to the hotel (we had to fly up to get this process done and staying overnight afterwards and NOT getting on the plane would be highly recommended). So after getting to the hotel I took a 4 hour nap/rest and then got up to go to dinner. I was a bit sore and took my time moving around, then we walked 3 blocks through Anchorage to dinner which was a nice slow walk and stretch of the legs. We had a Wonderful Dinner at the RumRunner’s Bar on 4th and East street and after having ribs that fell of the bone and a Blackened Halibut Salad we were set for the evening and headed home after a little social time out on the town. Back at the hotel at 10 and back to sleep. We were up at 6 and getting ready for the return flight. All was well, a bit sore still but nothing to worry about. The return flight was 2 hours long and I had no pressure build up or any great discomfort a little mild discomfort was all and that was to be expected. Upon returning home we went to lunch and then back to the house. Once at the house I immediately went to be to rest again for about 4 hours on my back. Afterwards we went out and supported some friends bowling for a couple of hours. Then back to home and sleep again at 10, up at 7 this morning and all is well. No soreness, a bit of mild discomfort if I move quickly. (note I did NOT go bowling, only spectating)- lol. So this is 1.5 days later and I am able to walk and move around decently normal without any major discomfort. More to come as we move forward in time.
