Obviously the idea of needles and knives down near my boys was not pleasant. I will say after that 90% of the bad stuff was in my head BEFORE the doctor went to work. Honestly the worst part of the whole process was the initial shot for the local. I would rate it as a 6 out of 10 for pain. (Far worse than this shot is getting a local at the dentist). After the local shot I had very little pain, I would say more discomfort than pain. The embarassment of having the nurse tape my penis down to my stomach to keep it out of the way was worse than the pain from the procedure. My doctor was great, he only did one incision to get to both tubes and he told me the whole time what he was doing and when to expect little stingers of pain. The whole procedure took les than 20 minutes and I was on my way home. The procedure itself is not that bad, the recovery is alot of soreness and tenderness, but not unbearable. Comments
