To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download No problems so far Had my vasectomy 15 days ago. Was a bit nervous beforehand due to some men’s experiences, but have not had any problems so far. The procedure was fairly quick, no pain worse than a slight ‘rubber band snap.’ The doctor and I joked with each other the whole time. I brought an instant cold pack for use right away and had a feeling like blue balls for a day or so (though some of that could have been the frozen peas.) Afterwards I had iodine all over that area, and it was annoying not to be able to wash it off for 48 hours. Procedure on Friday, took it easy all weekend, back to work on Monday. The first few days of work, by the end of the day walking produced a feeling like someone nudging my groin with every step, but that went away mid-week. By Saturday I was able to go bicycling (main problem there was some friction irritation at the puncture site.) And the hair growing back in itches a bit. Other than that, no problems. They gave me 10 pills for pain but I never needed anything stronger than ibuprofen. Comments
