To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Post vasectomy Care I am right now in about hr #28 post Vasectomy and have some advice for those who are having this done..everyone is different and will have different levels of pain…mine was particulary painful as I think I might have had a short vas differens and it really “pulled” when took it out for cutting process(I raised straight up off the table it was so painful)….. before hand buy 4 bags of frozen peas ( they work, trust me) and 1 “instant cold” ice pack. upon arrival for your appointment, have the nurse call in your scripts at your local pharmacy that has a drive thru so you can quickly zip thru on your way home( I had to wait for 15 min for my scripts and felt like passing out by the end)…as soon as you get into the car…apply the instant ice pack to your “boys” and get your script and get home fast… GO TO BED AND STAY THERE, elevate your feet as well, this will help with the nausea/ pain, kicked in the gonads feeling…DO NOT SIT IN A CHAIR FOR THE 1ST 24 HRS AS THE KICKED FEELING WILL INTESIFY…use the peas constantly….very soothing…and keep the jock on of course…. now 28 hrs later I am able to sit in a cair (30 min every few hrs) and feel no pain …I’m still using the peas…but now only frequently as a precaution…hope this helps you guys and hope you had a more painless experience than I did Comments
