long time healing after difficult Sx

I had a vasectomy performed six weeks ago. I can tell you that it was the single worst experience of my life. I nearly passed out due the pain during the 30 minute procedure. I had local anesthetic, but it felt like I was being kicked in the privates the entire time the surgeon operated. I felt pain all the way through my torso. I was in horrible pain for three days following. Still, six weeks later, I am uncomfortable, it feels like “my jeans are too tight in the crotch area and that I have a bit of a weggie.”

I think that I might have sperm granulomas (I just read about this). Anyway, it is probably slowly getting better. My advice is to make sure that you are positive about the surgery, and make sure you are ready. I don’t regret the procedure. I really don’t want to have any more children. I bet if there was the slightest incline to have another child, I would be upset about the procedure. So again, wait until you are certain you are ready! Good Luck!
