To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download return of the varicoceles I was in my twenties many years ago. When I was in the Air Force I stared to get a dull ache and even nausea with the pain in my right testicle. I went to the MD on base and he wanted to remove my testicle. Well I was awaiting surgery after being prepared and the surgeon was talking with me they had to cancel the surgery due to my X-ray showed pneumonia So I was sent back to base without the surgery. Okay ended up out of the AF and then as a civilian I went to a surgeon and he told me I had varicoceles and a hernia. I was young still had no intention of having kids but he did a sperm analysis and I had an adeg count but the sperm were “weak swimmers”. Okay I had the surgery ended up that I had bilat hernias and varicoceles. I had improve sperm levels and the rest of the story was uneventful. Until now I am 56yrs old and I have a return of the varicoceles and once again that pain from so long ago has returned. Sperm count, at my age I don’t care. but the pain can get close to that of a kidney stone, which I have at times. The pain gets worse as I stand and I work 12hrs a day on my feet. It seems that most of my pain is above the right testicle into the groin. The longer I stand the more it swells and the more pain I have. I thought for sure it was another hernia. But a surgeon examined me and said no hernias. I am getting ready to see a urologist today and I am hoping that this is no more then a simple surgical repair and back to normal self and activity. I have not been performing at my physical peak at work, but because I am older than the rest of the folks I have to be careful, for the sake of job security. I try to stay happy and smile and then take break to the bathroom to make a few sighs, I am getting good at this but the pain is getting worse. I had a ultrasound that diagnosed the return of the bilat varicoceles, CT of pelvic and abd that said everything was okay. There was a concern about the incidence of right varicocele and kidney cancer So I am very happy with these results, but with another 10 plus years to work I hope the physician will give news of a surgical repair and again on my way as usual. Well I wanted to share that although I had my surgery over 30 years ago that they can return with a vengeance. Comments
