To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Varicocele Support Group? Hi, I’d like to know if anyone else has the same problem as me. I was diagnosed with a varicocele on my left side just over a year ago. Since this time my left testicles has shrunk and feels like it’s being pulled back up into my groin, sometimes I awake at night in agony. This problem is ruining my life, I don’t understand why I have it as I’m healthy and fit, I’ve tried to take more supplements, cut out caffeine and alcohol and go to the gym 3 times a week. I don’t lift weights, but do lots of running. The worse thing about this problem is that it’s affecting my life sex life. The two main problems are premature / unsatisfactory ejaculation and the fact that there’s hardly no feeling in my left testicle, which means that sex is no longer pleasurable. The doc said that the varicocele is small, but for something so small it sure causes me problems, both mentally and physically. It’s got to the point where I’m feeling really depressed and can see no end to this. My only other alternative is to have an operation, but I’m unsure as I don’t really look forward to the prospect of having my blood vessels tied etc. My main question is, has anyone who’s had the operation found that their testicle has returned to normal and they can have pleasurable sex after it? It seems strange that there is very little help or support for people who have this condition. All of the things I’ve read seem to be conflicting in regards to fertility and there doesn’t seem to be any definite reasons or answers as to why people get them or how they can be prevented. I just hope that in the future docs will be able to restore the blood vessels function. Comments
