I’m 28 yrs old and i believe i’ve had vericocele [varicocele] for aprox. 12 yrs now. when was younger i would get these pains in my left testicle (especially in my sleep) i would have these dreams that someone was crushing my testicle and i would wake up in agony. over the years the pain has gotten worse. i was seen by a urologist a few years ago but he told me it wasn’t that bad and not to really worry about it. since then the pain has gotten worse. especially at work. i do a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes it feels similar to getting kicked in the groin! i mean stomach ache and all. wanting to throw up the pain gets so bad. the dreams have gotten worse as well i wake up screaming in the middle of the nite. even in tears in my sleep. ive been leaning on going back and talking to someone again surgery if necesarry. they say only to do it if fertility is an issue. i have one son already thats not a concern, but i cant keep living with the pain! any suggestions??
