Reconstruction bladder and rectocele repair

Hi,
I hope someone could give me some answers. I have stage 3 rectocele, enterocele, and cystocele repair that needs to be done and I was told I will need reconstrution of the vagina. I must admit I am scared to have it done. I was told the pain is really bad and trouble going to the bathroom.

Alot of the people I have heard had the mesh and complained of sticky pieces sticking them. I know I very uncomfortable now but they say it is only a 50% chance of it working. And not sure which kind of doctor to have do it. Most of the doctors seem scared to do the surgery.

I would like to hear from anyone who has had it done and how they are doing and what to expect. I am 58 years old and now I feel like I can’t do much because of how I feel back aches all the time and I feel so uncomfortable below. If I have to go thru this I sure don’t want to have it again.

I hope to hear back from anyone that has had the surgery and anything that could help me.
