Suffering from Fourniers gangrene

On the morning Nov 24, 2008, I felt a very small swelling in the side of anus while taking a bath. When I touched it with my hand, I felt an extreme pain. Though, I had a deadline for one project, therefore, I went office. My pain goes on increasing order. The cummulative effect reflected as a fever.

I finished my work at 14.00 then I moved to hospital. However, doctor couldnot diagonised properly and suspected it might be piles (hermaoid). Then I was given a cream, which did not work at all. I felt more pain then next afternoon, I again moved to hospital. I found the same doctor looking after me. He told me for the operation. Then I was taken series of test and finally got operation in the midnight. The length of the wound is quite big which is about 22 cm and width 6 cm. The spreading of bacteria is from the side of anus to the bsase of scrotum sac. Now I am on the 5th week after having operation, still the wound did not cure. I might think it is infecting again, though I am doing the dressing everyday with the help of district nurses.

Please suggest me for the further prevention from this disease?
I am still wondering how has it been infecting on me?
Any idea?
