Coping With Urological Emergencies

i had problems with urinary retention ever since i can remember. i didn’t put much attention to it, i wasnt urinating as a normal as a man should. i used to take aprx 3 to 4 minutes each time until i woke up one day and couldn’t urinate at all. so i went to the emergency room, they tried to put a catheter through my urethra but they failed.

doctor said that where the bladder and urethra meet that part was totally closed so they had to immediatly put me in the operating room so they can open it up and drain my bladder and put a catheter through my urethra and hopefully it’ll never close again.

but two weeks later they removed the catheter and a week later after that i couldn’t urinate at all again. lucky for me i had another catheter through my abdomen onto my bladder so that helped me drain my bladder. then the doctors told me that they are going to have to operate me again but this time they are going to cut whatever is closing over and over again, so they left that catheter through my urethra for a month and they took it out a month later and thank god till this point it hasn’t closed again all of this process took over 9 months after i was released from the doctor stating that i was able to urinate on my own now without any complications.
