To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Bladder Repair Surgery I had my bladder lifted using the sling procedure It’s been 6 weeks of misery. I cannot urinate from severe pain, that I end up in the ER and they reinsert a catedar [catheter] and I have to come home w/it until I can see my doctor. I’ve been able to urinate only a couple of times on my own for 2-3 days, and then it starts up again, even after they check my urine and tell me I have no infection. This last time, I was cleared to go back to work; did not have an infection; had urinated for 3 days on my own; I went out of town and ended up at the ER. I’m frustrated; not sure what I’m doing wrong; not sure if I need to see a urologist or continue the the OB/GYN that performed the surgery, and not sure what else I can do to help myself. I never experienced UTI’s before, until this surgery, so I’ve been clueless to the symptoms until it’s too late. Comments
