My UTI’s

I started having UTI’s not too long after my 2nd son was born in 2004, but it was just one here or there. My big problem started this past school year in Aug. 2007. I started getting symptoms and went to the doctor. The antibiotics cleared it up, but it wasn’t long and I had it again. This time I had it and couldn’t knock it. I was in a lot of pain. They decided to do an ultrasound of my kidneys too since my dad had passed away the year before of kidney cancer and I was freaking out. He was only 55.

My kidneys were fine, and the 2nd round of antibiotics seemed to handle it just fine. Now I seem to have another one. This time my urine is smelling strong….. It is terrible. I haven’t went to the doctor yet, but I called and they didn’t have anything open so I will try and go next week. I was taking phentermine (diet pill). That wouldn’t have caused it would it? I have started taking those cranberry tablets AZO. I don’t know what to do.

    I did not develop a uti until i had unprotected sex. I had an aweful pain on my lower right side that sent me to the ER for relief. I was given an antibiotic which cleared the symtoms, but afterward I developed symptoms as if i had a yeast infection [more..]
