Sacral Nerve Stimulation

I had a sacral nerve implant done in December 2006 at Queens National Urological and Neurological Hospital in London due to having problems voiding, I was retaining upto 1200mls water and was swelling up.

Afte the sacral nerve implant I found withing 2hrs of being switched on that I was voiding agan after some 6 years of bladder problems.

Unfortunately due to knocking it at work and causing an abcsess just below the implant site, I had to have the implant removed in Dec 2007 as the abcsess was eating away at the implant site.

I am currently due to have a 2nd implant in Nov 2008 at Queen in London

I am very impressed with Queens in London and the gynacologist who performed the operation on me.
