As time went by I was put on steriods (prednisolone). As the years roled by the amount of steriods flutuated to a maximum level of 40mg than down to 15mg. I slowly lost my erection. In Jan 2008 I found that I was feeling tired the first thing in the morning after a good night sleep. My eye lids were heavy, I was feeling depressed. My motivation was gone. At this time a blood test showed that my testosterone level was low. (IE 1)Normal level should be between 1 to 24. I was refered to an endocrinologist who put on 50mg testo gel to apply daily since oct 2008. My testo level now has gone up to 11. My improve in my health has been very small. I have no erection which is the least of my problems. The main thing is I still feel tired, doppy, lack of motivation and depressed. All my other blood levels are fine. My endocrinologist says that10mg predisolone steriods I am taking is fine. I told him I am a sad man and nothing has changed. He has now decided to put on a testo injection which should last for three months. So for now I have to say good bye. I have to fight on. I have refused to take anti depression tablets. Thank fully my depression comes and goes. I usally drink a bottle of red wine in days.(3 units a day). I have stopped drinking all together for the last two weeks. I am not an alcolic but I have to stop drinking to see if there is an improvement. Comments
