To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download my battle with testosterone I am 38 now. When I was about 32, i was in a deep funk. my marriage was falling apart before my eyes. i was being treated for depression and seeking counseling for night terrors dealing with abuse in my past. I would actuallyt throw punches in my sleep. then the bottom fell out when at 32 Ibegan peeing the bed. Now ad that to a very depressed male…. not good. we sought counsel with our priest. he asked if I felt moved to being Gay. My answe was “look i dont like men, i dont like women, i dont like sheep… I just dont want anything to do with sex… i was totally apathetic to it. he asked if I had my testosterone and b-12 checked. I went to my doctor and, while I dont remember the exact number but my doctor called and told me to come start testosterone and b12 treatment asap. my testosterone was almost 1/2 the lowest level as I remember. after taking testosterone treatment and supplementing my b12. and counseling for the marriage. things have been much better. now at 28 My most recent blood work showed my testosterone is low again. I will begin treatment to stop things from going sour again. the liberating part though is that I know that I have this issue and can understand when my mood swings or I have low energy. Right now its not affecting my libido or causing the night terrors or depression I know im putting a lot out there.. realize this… women have a time of the month that their emotions are on edge. men have different hormones but its much the same. we may not realize why we are being a jerk. an d then a puppydog the next day. guys get checked . Ladies… if you love your man.. be as patient as you would like him to be with you. Comments
