Depression

A bad mix:
Angioplasty with blood pressure pills (probably too high a dose), depression hidden by self medicating with alcohol and throw in a low libido for 20 years. Low testosterone now identified. I had complained to the MD’s involved for years “why the new anger and sullenness, could it be the medications?” Well it getting much better. It seems to have been all of these things. I think low testosterone was a significant precipitant. Depression can precipitate heart disease. Then there is the issues of what caused what, heart disease diabetes, underactive thyroid, depression None of you MD picked up on this nor made the connections. If I were not too old I would go to med school. I did the research and made the connections that no one did. After I connected the dots I finally got support from some my new MDs. If yours does not respond or solve your problem, locate a new one. People involved in research programs may be more receptive to new information. Young new doctors may try to help more than mentally worn Doctors who may be exhaused from trying to keep current and keep the insurance claims processed.
