UTI or Prostatitis ??

PLEASE HELP!! My son is 8yrs old, had a very nasty appendititis 8wks ago, 6days after operation was discharged from hospital, after went home he was in a lot of pain, 2days later I found his wound was red and swelling, took him see the doctor was admitted to hospital, 10mins later his wound burst opened, pus came out for 20mins. Discharged after 5days. About 8 days he started symptom of UTI, blood test and urine test found nothing, sometimes he has serious pain from his testicles and bladder. Lately urine found ecoli, doctor called and prescrible my son antibiotic for UTI, his symptom hasnt been any better, antibiotic doesnt work, I said to doctor he is not UTI but she take no notice of my suggestion.
