To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My father in laws story My father in law was diagnosed with prostrate cancer over 20 years ago. He had radiation therapy done, which put him in remission, or so we thought. When it came back over 7 years ago he started taking hormone shots, which kept the cancer at bay until now. Today at age 80, we found out that he has swollen lymph nodes in the chest and abdomen, and an enlarged prostrate. His cancer is back full force. He is almost positive he would like chemo done. The doctor suggested that he would do it at a lower dose, due to his age, to see if that does anything. I am so worried about him, I don’t know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions. He doesn’t want any aggressive procedures done, but he doesn’t want to give in to this horrible disease. Comments
