Background to my Peyronie’s. I had surgery for ulcerative colitis. About 8 weeks later upon attempting to re-establish relations with my wife, I noticed a definite list to the left. I went to my health plan urologist told of my 45′ bend, asked about vitamin E injections, wondered if the problem might have been caused by my surgery. Oh, no and no was the reply. Even though the brochure in his office stated catheterization (with somebody accidentally tripping over my tube) was a possibility. Also the pamphlet mentioned vitamin E. He told me to wait another 6 months. I came back then and this time he examined me and found a palpable hardening along the left side cavernosi. What to do? Why surgery, of course. But then there is no sure thing. What the??? A urologist looking at a guy has to know four things: kidney, bladder, prostate, genitalia. I only consulted about one of those, but sure feel I got the short end of the stick. Can’t help but wonder if I’d been better off in India.
