To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download One percent of children have this, does yours? Just came back from the child urologist again. My daughter had E-Coli as a pre-schooler and has never recovered. They kept sending her home telling me it was the flu. This went on for about 3 weeks. She now has reflux and incontinence. The reflux is a grade II and is on an antibiodic, Miralax to keep her regular to keep pressure off , and a med for the urine control. We are going on 2 years and she is wet day and night, not seeming to mind when she wets. The urologist has the attitude that we don’t want to do invasive testing or operating which may do more harm than good. We are so tired of driving over 100 miles every three months to hear the same report and to report the same info.We get her urine tested and she will have an occassinal infection. I’m afraid he’s missing something more serious, he says as long as she is not getting kidney infections then she is O.K. but with the antibiodic everyday, how do we know if she was going to get the kidney infection. Reminded him that husband’s neice was born with Spina Bifida. Does anyone out there have experience with this condition? My daughter is soon turning 9 yrs. old and would like to see her well before she starts puberty. Comments
