My heart goes out to you that have had a long road to diagnosis. Fortunately my story is the exact opposite. I am so greatful to my son’s pediatrician. He was diagnosed with a UTI at 4 months, referred right away to a pediatric urologist He had an ultrasound and VCUG diagnosing stage V. Was put on antibiotic and told to come back in 6 months. Just had the 6 month follow-up ultrasound, Dr. did not like the condition of his kidney and wants to perform the correction surgery. Other than 1 UTI with a high fever, he has no other symptoms. He is not fussy, weighs 25 lbs at 10 months. I am so thankful to his doctors. Please keep us in your prayers with his upcoming surgery May 30, 2008.
