My last resort

I have been deeling with my 8 year old daughter having uti since she was 3 years old. She has had every test and we have not found anything wrong with her kidneys everything has shown up fine and same with how they are functioning. I was getting tired of putting her on antibiotics all the time because I know that It also kills all the good bacteria that she needs in her body to fight off any infections that may be reoccuring.

Also many of the antibiotics she was given don’t agree with her she gets very sick she has had extreem headaches ,stomache pain, and really being almost out of it and glazed over in the eyes. So I had to turn to an alternative because I just felt helpless and left wondering what else I could do to help my baby girl she has suffered through this enough.

So my husbsand and I went to a health food store on a mission to find something anything that could get rid of the infections without putting her on meds.We ended up finding out that too much penecillan can actually build up in your body and cause you to get what is called candita .

We were asked a few questions about her condition and most of the symptoms she has are related to having candita wich is yeast that overgrows to a point that it can cause medical problems .And from being on meds so long her body could no longer fight off infection because she doesn’t have enough good bacteria in her body to fight off infections.

So right now she is taking natural substances which is a 30 day kidney cleanse to get rid of the bad infection in her kidneys, also a natural substance to get rid of the candida.I wouldn’t recommend that going and putting your child on a natural substance will work .But I was at my last resort and she has been tested for anything that may have not been working phisycally with her urinary tract infections and kidneys.

All results came back good so I am left with wondering why all the infections maybe something as little as putting her on these natural substances will work; I don’t Know yet but they won’t hurt her in any way. But in some wiered way It all kind of makes sense since nothing medical is working and questions are left unanswered.

Never thought that natural things may be the answers but in her case giving it a try won’t hurt either. If you read my entry look up what candida is you will be surprised! But please make sure your child has has all doctor tests to make sure there is nothing wrong with there kidneys and the way they are functioning.

  • bedwetting - by Crystal - (Tue, Nov 06 2007)
My daughter then 7 had been a bedwetter since she was 4. We tried all the normal things you try. No late drinking etc. A urologist checked her out and said she would outgrow once she got to puberty. Our pediatrician’s office recommended an alarm. We tried it and it worked!! It was a commitment on both the part of the child and the parent. It took about 3 months and it was hard. Now she is never wet at night. And before she never had a dry night! we used the 8 tone alarm! [more..]
