my know three yr old was born with two holes. After two ultra sounds and a 2 hr trip and alot of stress from his not current ped, we deciced not to cottect the physical part of the problem, but now with potty issues not advancing

My daughter then 7 had been a bedwetter since she was 4. We tried all the normal things you try. No late drinking etc. A urologist checked her out and said she would outgrow once she got to puberty. Our pediatrician’s office recommended an alarm. We tried it and it worked!! It was a commitment on both the part of the child and the parent. It took about 3 months and it was hard. Now she is never wet at night. And before she never had a dry night!
we used the 8 tone alarm!

I have been deeling with my 8 year old daughter having uti since she was 3 years old. She has had every test and we have not found anything wrong with her kidneys everything has shown up fine and same with how they are functioning.

- VCUG Scares? - by LC - (Mon, Nov 05 2007)
Like many readers here, my child has been getting yearly VCUG’s due to reflux diagnosed in utero. I am horrified to hear of adults writing that they remember having these tests as children and that it scarred them emotionally for life.
