To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download 2nd grade child, 7 years old, is incontent in daytime I have a set of twin 7-year old girls. They are my entire life. I love them so much. That’s why this is extremely painful for me. My younger of the twins (by 3 minutes), is having an incontinence problem at this age and she’s in 2nd grade. This is quite embarrassing for me as her mother and for her as the child who just does not go to the bathroom to urinate. She has no problem going to do #2, but for some reason, every single day, she urinates her pants and by the time she is picked up from school, she smells really awful. I have researched everything on the internet, her urine is now in a lab to determine if there is a Urinary Tract Infection and she already has an appt to see her pediatrician as soon as we have the results of the test. Please advise if anyone else has had a similar problem, how common this is, and my worse fear is if she has a disorder that cannot be cured! This is breaking my heart and my family is going through extreme frustration. She is a genius when it comes to her schoolwork, very bright, very jovial, a lot of fun and an exceptionally happy child. Can anyone offer any solice? It’s painful to me to know that others are smelling this awful smell throughout the day. She tells me she loves her life except for the fact that she can’t hold her urine. Please help!!! From an exasperated and very sad mom. Thank you. Comments
