To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download my child had the surgery My child was dx. with reflux when she was 3 months old because I made the doctor do a urine test when he said her high fever was a virus. she then had the vcug and was put on bactrim after 4 years of that and repeated uti’s. I changed doctors and was sent to a urologist and found out my child had a stage 5 and was restitant to bactrim and she had surgery and had 3weeks of hell and pain from spasms but has not had another uti but has had emotional damage from repeated vcug’s and cathers. i still have a hard time with her going to the doctors because she thinks someone is going to stick something in her popo. Doctors need to sedate children before that procedure because it did effect my child. She sometimes now 2 years later talks about it and has incont episodes but i don’t want to take her back to the doctor because she is just now learning how to be a normal child. No one can understand what this does to children and parents but I do. Comments
