Living with Overactive Bladder

Hi my name is Tracy and I have been dealing with overactive bladder for about 4 and a half months now. I was perfectly healthy until July this year when I went in for an ultrasound to check for uterine fibroids, the ultrasound tech had use the vaginal probe and I felt like she was really pushing up into me, while at the same time pushing down on my abdomen, the day after I felt like I had a UTI

The doctor put me on meds but that didn’t clear it up. I went to see a urology PA and he said I had OAB and put me on Detrol LA. I felt great for a few weeks and now I feel like crap again. I have switched meds to Ditropan to see if that helps but I am also going to see an actual Urologist in a few weeks, I really think that probe is what did something to me.

I just want to feel better, I am only 40 and have always been healthy, this is really sucking the joy out of my life and making it hard to enjoy anything. I have small kids and I miss doing the fun stuff with them because I feel like crap. If anyone has had a similiar experience please let me know if you found help.
