Hey all, i’ve never had a stone before ,but that all changed one sunny after noon,i was delivering in oakland calif.i got out of my truck and got a pain from hell in the left side of my gut that bent me over and thought i was done for sure. so i held on to my truck for a few and was able to stand and get unloaded,to make a long story shorter i drove back to my yard parked my truck and went home and layed down the pain was unbeliveable,i could’nt go poo at all got very blowted so about 5:00 the next morning i woke my ol’lady up and thought i was dieing and she took me to the hospital. oboy now it gets good they came out with a wheel chair to get me from the car, that was nice of them but they could have sent some one that could drive the darn thing,on the way to the door she missed the flat smooth part and hit the curb!oh my i thought i was gona be liying on the side walk but i bounced back in to the chair, well this visit is off to a good start.got inside and took me in right away to a e.r. bed,did the normal e.r. stuff they do iguess? but anyway the blood test came back and the doctor said that my kidney was shuting down, nice ,so afew minutes later the nurse showed up with a fleet enema wow that was not expected. about five mins latter two of them showed up said it was xray time, itold them what i just got and they said it would be just a minute and i would be right back, cool off we went and about 45 mins later they came and got me from the haulway to take the xrays,so i had to transfer from my bed to the table with gut pain and butt rush pain, anyway they got me back to my room, and i dont need to tell u the next part i.e.the fleet.so my xrays came back and the doc told me i have a 11mm stone in me! the good part is i finally got some pain meds, after the iv they put me on.well im laying there finally with no pain and the uralagist(sorry for the spelling)showed up and said i have to go in to surgery in the morning and have a stint put in me to unplug my hole for my kidney,i said ok then what the stone will come out with it?and the doc said no the stint will stay in for afew days,oh ok.so i thougt that he would put a hole in me do his thing and be done, yea right the next morn he came to see me in pre-op and told me that he would be inserting it thru my buddy, i said WHAT and he told me that was the best way. so they rolled me in and put me on the table hooked me up to abunch of stuff and the sleep man asked me if i was ready to go tosleep, the last thing i remember is the nurse puting my feet in stirups,WOW!well about a minute later i was coming to in recovery, first thing i noticed was my buddy didnt fill to happy about what he just had happen to him at all,nor was i,then i noticed that somthing was in him a cathader(spelling again sorry)with a bag hanging on my bed side.anyway that was about 10:00 am they said by 4 i would be going home yahoo, that thing in my buddy was really strange,i never went pee in bed like that before, but it didnt last long the nurse came in and said it was time to remove it,that was really strange but glad it didnt hurt. and about a couple of hours latter they sent me home, and i havent been able to see a doctor sence, got turned down for basic care coverage, tryed to get medi-cal turned down,so here i am not only do i have a stone to big to pass,i have a stint in me that dont belong there,im about 35,000 or so in the hole for a ONE NIGHT STAY!and out of ops, trying to work when every time i get out of my truck i have to go mark a spot with what feels like acid or something,if not i would pee my pants,(two times already)and thats all day long,i feel like i should be walking on all fours and just walk up sniff and lift my leg.s o no work ins and living check to check i dont know how i will get this thing over with,i think the doctor who put it in me should have to take it out ins or not,he put it in with out any.well hope i didnt bore you to much, and best of luck to every one of you with the KSTONE BLUES.
