To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Kidney Stones I learned for the first time earlier today I have kidney stones…I’ve had bad allergies recently, so when I woke up at 7 in the morning unable to breath out of my nose I took benadryl and went straight back to bed. I woke up from that at about 2 in the after noon needing to use the restroom more than I ever have before in my life. I went straight back to bed and that’s when it hit me the worst pain I’d ever felt in my life. It felt like something inside me had exploded and I’ve got a pretty high pain tolerance. Then I had bad vomiting that didn’t stop. I took it all for about an hour before I called some friends and was rushed to the ER…the whole long hour waiting process to get check in with even longer waiting to see someone and the pain never let up. Even after the morphine I was still in a significant amount of pain. after CT scans showed I had multiple kidney stones in each kidney and one 4mm one in my ureter. Now I’m sitting at home waiting for it to pass and not thrilled about what they said that would feel like either… if you get kidney stones how often do you get more and does it always hurt that much?
