One night I was walking and I felt a huge pain in my lower right side. I got really light headed and came seconds from passing out. My mom says it could be the bodies response to a huge amount of pain. The antibotics hide a lot of my symptoms from the doctors. Most people get a pain that travels from the top of there stomach to the lower right side. Also people normally get sick like the flu symptoms. From other people I know they say the pain is unbarriable. The antibotics hide all that from me and the doctors. I went to the ER the next night to get it checked out. They took my back at 7:00pm to do an Xray and take some blood work. The doctors thought it could have been a hernia or constipation. They told me to come back in a few days if it continued. My mom insisted on a CT. They did a CT at 11:30pm and a few minutes later a 4th year Surgerical resident came in to talk to me. They told me there appeared to be a stone in my appendix. The next morning they took me to surgery. When I woke up in my room the doctor was doing his rounds and told me there was swelling in my appendix and said if I would have waited a few more days it would have ruptured. I stayed the night and left to go home the next morning. The pain was not to bad surgerical wise. Comments
