Ok I just had to title that since I have been having reoccuring kidney stones for 14 yrs now. I got my first one when I was pregnant and they had to put a stent in. I was in pain and miserable but lived through it. I then ended up getting a few more 5 yrs later. I now an accumulating over 10-15 stones a year. It is crazy to me. I have had so many ESWL its hard to keep track. I have had them stuck in my ureter to wear they are now saying with my last batch of stones (5 in ureter) 6 in kidney, that my ureter may not go back to normal, it is so damaged. I have tried many many things to get rid of them and nothing is helping. I currently have a stent from my last surgery and my doc wants to go into the kidney to remove the ones on the other side because they are gigantic. I am very freaked out about that surgery. Any suggestions??
