kidney stones

About 5 years ago I passed a very painful 5mm stone, it took about 3 1/2 hours to pass from kidney to bladder which seemed like forever without pain killers. Three days later I was in the emergency room screaming for help as it was passing from bladder to urethea which took 8 hours, now I am very tolerate to pain, I delivered my child naturally and she was 8 pounds and some pain but this little stone was worst than any pain I could describe, only those who have experienced this could actually feel this pain.

Now as of August 31, I have been fighting stones again in much more pain than before because it is lasting longer. I am very exhausted. I had a 9mm stuck in left kidney blocking everything and bloating me up, however the stent procedure was such a major relief, which I got on 9/11. On 9/19 I was put under to have a lithotrispy break up the stone, it was very sucessful but still I was in pain in the bladder area since they took out the stent on 10/3 on the left side and place a stent on the right to prepare for another lithotrispy to break a 7mm in the right kidney.

My father had a history of kidney stones I found out I eat a lot foods with oxalates which has caused the stones and also during my pregnancies I ate tums with calcium for every piece of hair on my children’s head, then I realized my father used rolaids with calcium prior to having his kidney stone, so I have come to the conclusion that the 9 stones I have which only 5 remain and hopefully after Friday 10/10 I will only have 1 or 2 extremely small ones. I will change my diet to prevent these from enlarging and getting any others in the future.
