Several months later I had another stone removed. I had 5 stones in my kidneys at that time. In March of the following year I had 5 more stones. My urologist analyzed the stones to be calcium and put me on a medication that didnt help me at all. Every 4 to 5 months I was passing stones. Needless to say 4 years later the stones and pain are affecting my life, my job, and I am so frustrated. I have tried several different urologist with out any luck. I hate taking pain meds and because of my job can’t take anything and work. Recently in June of this year I found out I had two more stones. I was gettng married in July so my new urologist decided to wait to do anything until after the honeymoon. Of course while in Jamaica I had one day of nothing but pain. When I returned I convinced my dr to take action. I had a lithotripsy and it was the most painful thing I have ever done even when I passed other stones. After three days in the hosptial my doctor sent me home even though the morphine drip wasn’t working and my ct scan showed pieces of stone still in my kidney, fluid backed up on the kidyned and my tubes all swollen. I was in so much pain for days to follow that I missed two weeks of work and still no healing in sight. Now two weeks later the dr talks of putting a stint in. I have urine, blood, ct, etc…but no one can tell me why I keep producing stones. I don’t know where else to turn. I am so frustrated and feel like there is no help. And the bad part is still after 3 weeks of having surgery it still hurts to start and stop urinating and I have abdominal pain…so now what do I do? Comments
