To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Yahooooooo! no more stone I was so scared reading peoples experiences, then it hit me, people with good outcomes probably wouldnt take the time to share a story, so I decided to tell mine so far. My stone was a whopping 14mm. I felt pain in the front, not the back so had no clue this might be my kidney acting up. When they found it, I was on vacation. Naive as I am about kidney stones I thought it could be taken out right away. It wasnt possible. I returned home and found one of the best urologists who happened to have an opening the next day. The following week a stent was put in. The bladder spasming was horrible, but I suffer from IC so that may be the cause of the pain. I was pretty much in bed for nearly 3 weeks. About 3 days ago, I noticed very little pain with the stent. Today I had the stone lazered. I woke up in very little pain. The doctor said the massive stone broke very easily. Im now straining the urine for stones. In three weeks they will remove the stent and do an xray. Ive heard the stent removal is the easiest part. Its amazing how far we have come since kidney stones required an incision. I already feel like a new woman and cant wait for the stent to come out and spend my life drinking lemonade to keep new stones from forming. All is takes is time to get through this. Good luck to everyone going through this. It will get better. Comments
