To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download kidney stone history i’m a 48 year old male who started producing calcium kidney stones beginning in my late twenties 28. for the next ten years i would pass one stone 2-4 mm once every two years or so. when i got to 38 i started producing and passing one stone per year by the time i got to 46 i started producing and passing a small stone twice a year. now at 48 i’m headed in for my first surgery to get a stone that won’t pass. A few things that maybe helpfull to know if you are expereincing kidney stone problems. Passing a stone can be an excruiting painful process the pain can be in different areas depending on where the stone is getting bound up as it passes, in the abdomen and in my case extreme rectal pain which can be confused with iritable bowel syndrome. My pain usually came in the middle of the night and would last approx. 2-3 hours. Over the years as soon as these episodes would occur i knew passing a stone would follow shortly. To ease the pain the best thing that works is hrdrocodeine or loritabs if your without medication sitting in a hot bath as hot as you can stand will ease the pain. if you want to pass it as quick as possible fasting and drinking plenty of water will move it out the quickest. When your body hasn’t got any food to process it will go to the back closet and start dealing with issues it put off. In my case to avoid getting them in the future i’m having to give up all dairy products boo hoo, i’ll take that over the pain. you may have heard cranberrie juice is good for kidney stones but if your prone to them its not good because of the oxilates that may be why in the last few years i’ve had more stones because i drank cranberry juice everyday thinking it was helping.
