passed one stone still have pain

Hi Everyone, Passed one stone last Tuesday morning. Was pain free for a day. Yeah! Then a duller pain came back in the flank and lower abdomen area. I have had ultrasound, cat scans that show the kidney stone is in the the kidney still. Does not show on the back x ray so it can’t be blasted. It is not that big. The urologist said he doesn’t believe it is the kidney stone. One of my other doctors believes it is and just needs to move a bit and it will stop hurting again. I have another doctor tomorrow for a different test. See what he says. Anyone else have this problem?

I found out I had 3 large kidney stones by a CT scan (they were 1.5m, 7m, 5m). I was only experiencing mild back pain. The urologist told me I needed ESWL. I was put under and after the procedure a stent was put in. I thought I’d be in a lot of pain, but I just had mild back pain, and I didn’t even feel the stent. [more..]
