Help me help my husband

A little background on my husband…
Age - 40
Type of Stones - Uric Acid and Oxalate
Doctors we’ve seen - hi primary care physician, urologist endocrinologist.

Medications he is on - Morphine Sulfate 30 mg tablet, Nortriptyline Hydrochloride 10 mg tablet, Terazosin1 mg capsule, Morphine SUlfate 20mg/ML

He forms these suckers so often that he passes 2-5 a month and has progressively passed more and more over the last 5 years. He’s had MRI’s and CT scans to track how many he forms. At one time he had 20 all togther, the last time we had a CT scan he had 12. When the pain is bad, he takes Morphine and Nortriptyline that makes him sleep for 10-15 hours ( thus not drinking enough water ) and also takes the Morphine Sulfate liquid as a breakthrough pain reliever. Our medical providers basically gave up on him. They can’t figure out why he forms so many stones and refuse to refer us to a provider outside the darn HMO we belong to.

Any help is appreciated or advice on who to see. This is a big factor in our marriage and our relationship. I just want my husband to get better and not suffer so much. Please email me [moderator note: e-mail address has been removed] if you wish to contact me.

Thank you.
