To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Thanks to Gabe I’ve been suffering from repeated UTI since 2003. Frequent chills at night and difficulty in urinating were also part of my daily life. Last May 15, 2007, I had an operation to remove a 1.42 cm stone (uric acid) lodged at the entrance of my urinary bladder (lowest part of my left ureter). It might have been blocking my urine flow for so long. After the operation and days of stay in the hospital, my blood pressure had turned down and ranged to 100/70 to 110/70. I used to have 120/80 bp before even when I’m on a maintenance. I was diagnosed to have essential hypertension since 2003. Now, I no longer take neobloc and my bp still stays at 110/70. I had another KUB ultrasound to see the state of my kidneys. Before the operation, my left kidney was dilated and the right with tiny stones. Result of the last ultrasound. 6 weeks after the operation, still showed the tiny stones. My doctor advised me to take sodium bicarbonate (3x a day) and one allpurinol. Before I was doubting of their effect on my kidneys because everytime I took the Sodium Bicarbonate I taste the salt in it. But with the sharing of GABE, peace and hope came into my heart. Thanks GABE! Comments
