Living with Kidney Infection

This is my first attempt to reach out online i pray i find something! my 54 year old father has been ill now for 8 weeks. At this point he is so weak and in so much pain, nothing seems to be working. He started out with some major back pain. He was given antibiotics for a kidney infection. He went back to the doctor still in pain and basically laughed at. Next was an ambulance ride to the ER, he couldn’t get out of bed, he was in sooo much pain.

They found a stone that needed to be removed by surgery. While they were doing the surgery they encounterd a tumor in the bladder, blocking the ureter (later announced cancerous, as far as i know they are 95% sure they got it all and it was not attached to muscle), found a serious kidney infection and removed the large kidney stone and left smaller ones behind. They left the stint in to go back and check it out next week and replace it with a smaller one for the next check up. So he had taken the antibiotics for that infection with still no relief. Just two days ago put on another antibiotic for another infection…still no relief! What the heck is going on? What do we do?
