In November 2007, I went to my family doctor to pick up my files since he was retiring. After looking through the
I discovered a letter from radiology to my specialist which was forwarded to my family doctor. The letter was underlined in red and clearly stated that I had a mass in my right kidney, and should be revisited immediately with a scan complete with contrast. I was never told of this finding so you can imagine my shock. Then I took a quick look at the letter again only to realize the letter was a year old.

Meanwhile my specialist Dr Metcalfe had preformed 2 lipos on my right kidney in the past few months totally ignoring
the seriousness of this report. I demanded a proper xray and what appear as a small mass became a full blown tumor. Had to be removed along with part of my main blood vein, since it had grown out of my kidney. What do think should happen to irresponsible doctors, one screwing up is bad enough, but both?
