To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download heart bypass, followed by nephrectomy i had 2 heart attacks in the space of 5 days while i was admitted in hospital, the day after the second one i was taken down to theatre for a quadrupal heart by-pass. 14 months later the same thing happened. when they got me down to theatre to operate, the surgeon told the team it could’nt be done because of the state of my heart, so they put 3 stents into my heart instead. 4 years after this episode i was diagnosed with cancer of the kidney, and my right kidney was removed within a couple of days of this cancer being found. I had the shock of my life when they told me that i had cancer, especially after going through all the heart problems, and i was only 46 at the time of the heart problems. anyway they took the kidney out and about a week after the operation i developed a large swelling on the right hand side of my abdoman, i was told it was a hernia from the operation for the kidney, then over the next 1 months i was told there would be an operation to close this hernia up. 7 times this operation was put on and then cancelled, until eventually when my consultant saw it, by the way he had’nt seen it for 3 months at the time, he said we have got no choice at all now, we must operate now. they did operate opening my dide up a bigger cut than when they did my kidney oeration. 2 days after this operation the swelling started to come out of my side again, then the consultants decided to put me on morphine patches that ive now been on for about 18 months, 62 micrograms ging in mr every hour of the day seven days a week. just in the past week my g. p. sent for me to tell me some blood test results, he told me that my remaining kidney and my liver are both at borderline, i don,t know at borderline of what, he did,nt tell me that, and that my coelesteral [cholesterol] is high at 5.5 which he says is very high for my condition, he has also found a lump at the front on my bowel that is causing me a lot of discomfort, i had a c.t. scan a couple of weeks back and now they are waiting for those results, and i can assure you i am scared to death, my self i think i have got cancer of my bowel because of the symptoms i am getting, but we shall just have to wait to see the results of the c. t. scan.
