Hey, I been diagnosed with interstitial cystitis in 2006. I had alot of symptoms of going to the bathroom every hour ,and had suffered with bladder infections most of my life. I knew something was wrong when I had all those symptoms,so I went to. A urologist to see what was going on after several medications that failed and other in office procedures that didnt work I was introduced to interstim therapy I had it implanted in 2007, but I didnt carry the best of luck recently I had to get it removed. And its been 4 mos without it and I miss it so later on this year I may consider to get it back in. Not all people living with this disease requires what I had to do,but it does help to know there are othhers out there that knows what your going through.i hope this bit of information was helpful to you, and please if you think you got these symtoms dont hesitate to get seen by a urologist im glad I did.
