To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Feel Like IC is Ruining my Life My gynecologist found my bladder condition while giving me a hysterectomy at the age of 25. I had constant pain in my abdominal area. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and had varicose veins wrapped around my uterus. A pap smear for me was the most painful experience of my life. It would hurt so bad I would almost pass out from the pain. After finding my bladder problem he sent me to a urologist who did a cysto with distention and he told me that I had IC and put me on Elmiron, Hydrox, Amitriptylin, and Vesicare. Vesicare caused me severe constipation that led me to a hemorrhoidectomy. So I was switched to Enablex. I was fine for over 3 years. I had a little pain but nothing I couldn’t handle until recently. I have started hurting so bad I can’t stand for long periods of time. I had to take a leave of absence from work because the pain was so bad it would double me over with pain. My urologist put me on Cipro. And my family doctor put me on hydros for pain and an antiseptic to numb my bladder for pain. The day after I was through taking the Cipro the pain was back with a vengeance. I don’t know what to do but it’s affecting my family and my work. Comments
