To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download The long haul I was diagnosed with IC 2 years ago. I have been dealing with the symptoms for about 9 years. I’ve had 10 surgeries and too many pills since I was diagnosed. I now have a urostomy bag, not happy about it, but the pain has decreased some. I’ve gone from feeling hopeless and praying I wouldn’t wake up in the morning because I was in so much pain, to being able to make it through the day with a little less pain. I have a wonderful doctor who has listened to me through this whole experience. I think I’ve had a better experience because of my doctor (and nurse practitioner), and I hope other people will get a doctor who specializes in IC and really get some help. Comments
