To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Living with Interstitial Cystitis I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis 8 years ago at the age of 35. I had the urgent need to empty my bladder every 5 minutes without getting relief. I started to get low pelvic pain (at childbirth I had a separation of the symphasis pubis) and was getting nausea. Urine tests were always negative and after a number of doses of antibiotics I was referred to a urologist Endep 10 was prescribed (which made me extremely drowsy) and had DMSO. DMSO immediately allowed me relief and am finding Endep 10 (Amitriptelene) controls the symptoms. I am usually controlling it with 1 tablet a day - when I have flare-ups I take 2 tablets a day. Stress appears to be the main thing that causes my flare-ups. I immediately feel pain in the pelvic area. I have also found Endep 10 has been great for my asthma. I use to take asthma medication every day and now I only need to take it when I have a bad virus. Endep has been good in giving me a good night sleep due to its sedative effects. It doesn’t affect me during the day now as my body has adjusted to the medication. Comments
