To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Improper Diagnoses until IC Discovered I have had bladder problems since I was in grade school, and I’m 26 now. I had been to urologists in the past and all they told me after much testing was I had an overactive bladder Medications didn’t work and I had lost all hope. Days can be so bad that I pee every fifteen minutes in the evening. I had no clue about IC until one day on the news I saw info about IC. Odd thing is I knew my bladder lining was messed up way before hearing about IC. I had told people I wished they could put a bag in my bladder, so it would catch the urine and not agitate me. After watching the special on the news I knew for a fact I had IC Months later I saw a smart urologist and was diagnosed and given medication. I dont know how to explain how relieved I am to know the real problem!!! It’s been one week and I can already see a slight improvement with diet and medication. Oh the treatment I had at the doctors office was a miracle. She injected some fluid in my bladder and for the first time in forever I didn’t pee for four hours. That means allot from a person who pee’s every hour or more. Please help educate more people, so their frustration and pain can be managed. Comments
