To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Losing hope. I got diagnosed with Interstitial Cystis three years ago, my senior year of high school. Basically my Dr.s thought I was having recurrent urinary tract infections and after several courses of anitbiotics were unsuccessful, we did the diagnosing for Interstitial Cystitis I have tried basically all of the medicines that are out there, along with all of the treatments including instillations, hydrodistention, Elmiron, etc. I have been passed along from Dr. to Dr. with them not knowing what else to do. I recently underwent a Hydrodistention to basically see if the Elmiron was working, and my bladder has only gotten worse. It’s very disappointing. It affects my everyday life and having to deal the chronic pain itself is very aggravating. I have had to quit jobs because of my pain and postpone things that I want to do with my life because I know I cannot rely on my bladder. If anyone out there knows of anything, anything at all, that might help please let me know. I’m only 21 years old and I’m just praying that it doesn’t get worse. Comments
