Microscopic Hermerturia

My son is 13 years old and has been having blood in his urine since August 2008. The blood can only be seen using a dipstick test. Is there any natural treatment that we can do for him to help him stop the bleeding? At the moment he is under homeopathic treatment since Jan 2009. The result on the dipstick goes up and down depending on how much water he drinks and if he had some sugar in his system. We will be going to the hospital on the 28th April 2009, we do not want him to go through any big operation. He is terrified thinking about the operation. Please help.
