To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download lack of sexual appetite I am a post-menapausal woman - married 40+ years. All my life (even before marriage), I have had no real sexual appetite. Now, my body is really fighting me. I have the feeling a great deal of this problem comes from my childhood. My mother would not talk with me about sex - I was kept pretty much “under her thumb”. If I could find a hypnotist - I could probably find out what happened in my past to make me the way I am now. My husband and I have been experimenting with “toys” and different ways of stimulation. We have found it takes almost “pain” to get any kind of stimulation for me - this includes clitoral and/or “G” spot stimulation. I am wondering, though - my husband goes directly to the genitals for stimulation - nothing else - could that be a part of the problem? I have reseached and know that hormones (which I cannot take because of health problems) can really cause a problem here. He thinks because he cannot stimulate me to a point of orgasm - whether it be by hand or toy or other - he is not a good partner - and it upsets him terribly. I am a very, very romantic person - always have been ….. I want our sex life to be good - even now when both of us are not youngsters anymore! Can anyone give me ANY ideas how to get my body to cooperate - and really get “with it” sexually?? I am hoping there is someone out there who understand or can give me an idea of who I might talk with ….. HELP!!!!! Comments
