To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Frustrated with ED and doctors. My story is worrisome. Around 2004 I took steriods for a lift and it increased both my erections and drive. However, by late 2004, I was beginning to have trouble reaching orgasm, and erections were getting harder to achieve/maintain. So I stopped taking steroids. That made the problem get worse, much worse. I went to a doctor in 2005 who prescribed nightly Viagra, but after several weeks of this, still no erections on demand (yes, at night I had erections during sleep, but not as still as previously). Frustrated, I went to another urology doctor who gave me various blood tests and he said that my testosterone was low, but not really too low (high 300s). He gave me a course of clomid to raise the Testosterone levels (up to the 450s). But after six weeks, things didn’t improve with my ED, although my testosterone levels were raised. In sum, if I can achieve an erection (a big “if”), then I lose it if not continuously in motion during sex, and often, even while in motion. I’m 45 and this is frustrating. Of course, the docs recommend a psychologist but I simply cannot maintain an erection even while alone with pornography–so where the “performance anxiety” in that? I’m simply out of clues and guess the next few decades until death–I’m sexless (my wife as well). Comments
